Position: Wide Format Digital Printer Operator
Hours: 8am–5pm (Mon–Fri)
Contract: Permanent Position


We are currently seeking a skilled and self-motivated Wide Format Digital Printer Operator to join a high-performing production team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone with strong experience in large format digital printing, pre-press setup, RIP software, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical knowledge and a proactive approach to quality control and workflow efficiency.


Competitive salary between $80,000–$100,000 including super, depending on experience

Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Operating and maintaining wide format digital printers for producing signage, wallpaper, ACM, polycarbonate, and other large format outputs
  • Setting up print jobs and adjusting machine settings for optimal print quality and material usage
  • Troubleshooting print and machine issues, conducting routine and preventative maintenance
  • Using RIP software to prepare print-ready files, manage colour profiles, and perform regular calibrations
  • Managing daily production schedules and prioritising workflow to meet deadlines
  • Performing detailed quality checks, ensuring output meets specifications and internal standards
  • Receiving and handling media stock and ink; monitoring inventory to support smooth production
  • Supporting internal teams by contributing to workflow improvements and coordinating across departments
  • Maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace and adhering to all WHS procedure

What You’ll Need:
  • Proven experience in wide format digital printing and finishing in a manufacturing or print environment
  • Strong pre-press knowledge, including file setup, colour accuracy, and RIP processing
  • Technical troubleshooting skills and confidence in maintaining print machinery
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles is highly regarded
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
