skilled and competent Mig Welder / Fabricator to join our manufacturing team and contribute to the production of
cutting-edge security products.

Position Overview:
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and welding processes involved in the
production of security, safe, and vault systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal
fabrication, welding, and assembly, with a keen eye for precision and detail.

Responsibilities and duties:

1. Metal Fabrication
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements. Measure, cut, and shape metal components using various tools and equipment.
  • Fabricate parts and components with precision to ensure compliance with design specifications.
2. Welding
  • Perform MIG welding operations on various metals, including steel and stainless steel in accordance with Australian Standards.
  • Ensure the integrity and strength of welds, meeting Australian Standards and quality requirements.
  • Conduct visual inspections of welded components to identify and rectify any defects.
3. Assembly
  • Pouring concrete into safe bodies as required.
  • Assemble fabricated components into complete security, safe, and vault systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the seamless integration of different parts.
4. Quality Control:

  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and adhere to strict quality control measures.
  • Identify and address any deviations from design specifications promptly.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct quality checks during the assembly process to guarantee the final product's reliability.

5. Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and promote a safety-first culture among team members.


Qualifications and skills required for this position:
  • Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the security or related
  • industry.
  • Strong welding skills, including MIG and stick welding techniques.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to metal fabrication and welding.

Education and Certifications:
  • High school certificate or equivalent. Welding certification(s) required
  • Driver Licence preferred
  • Forklift Licence preferred
