Permanent Full-Time Position – 70 hours per fortnight
Salary: $70K plus super
Roster Options:
      • Shift A: Sun–Tue + every second Wed
      • Shift B: Every second Wed–Sat
Overview

The Warehouse and Yard Operator supports the safe and efficient operation of site activities across warehouse and yard environments. The role involves customer service, material handling, basic equipment operation, traffic and site flow management, and general maintenance duties. A strong focus on reliability, safety and adaptability is essential.

Key Responsibilities
      • Handle, inspect and classify incoming materials
      • Operate weighbridge or site systems and process payments accurately
      • Deliver professional customer service and clear communication
      • Assist with material recovery and maintaining site areas
      • Perform general maintenance and manual labour tasks
      • Manage and direct site traffic safely
      • Operate vehicles and equipment within licence limits
      • Follow all safety, environmental and quality procedures
Essential Criteria
      • Strong customer service and communication skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Physically capable and willing to perform manual labour
      • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
      • Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
      • Current NSW Driver’s Licence
      • Understanding of WHS and safe work practices
      • Demonstrated reliability, teamwork and integrity
Desirable Criteria
        • EFTPOS experience
        • Traffic control accreditation
        • HR truck licence
        • Forklift licence
        • First Aid certificate
        • Experience in waste, recycling, transport, logistics or related industries
