Job Description

State / Regional Manager – End-of-Life Services About the Company Our client is one of the fastest-growing businesses in a highly traditional industry: end-of-life care. Their mission is to make funerals and end-of-life services more accessible, affordable, and personalised for modern families.

By combining empathy with technology, they deliver simple, human-centred experiences during one of life’s most vulnerable moments. In just a few years, they have supported tens of thousands of families, received multiple awards for customer service and innovation, and built a passionate, values-driven team. Growth is accelerating, and they are now seeking a State / Regional Manager to lead operations within a key region.

The Role This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact.

Initially, you will work directly with families to coordinate funeral services, gaining a deep understanding of what exceptional end-of-life care looks like in practice. From there, you will step fully into a leadership position, taking responsibility for all services delivered across the region and leading a committed, high-performing team.

Your focus will be on:

  • Delivering outstanding, compassionate customer experiences

  • Leading, supporting, and developing a team operating in emotionally sensitive environments

  • Ensuring services are delivered smoothly, professionally, and in line with company standards

  • Balancing empathy with operational excellence in a fast-paced setting

About You We are looking for a people-first leader who genuinely cares about supporting others at difficult times.

You will bring:

  • Proven leadership and people-management experience

  • A reputation as a supportive, empathetic leader who also holds high standards

  • Experience in the funeral industry or a closely related field (highly regarded)

  • A genuine enjoyment of working with people from all walks of life

  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment

  • Strong comfort with technology and structured processes

  • A fast learner who adapts quickly to new systems and ways of working

  • A leadership style that blends performance, accountability, and compassion

Above all, you believe in the organisation’s mission and are motivated by meaningful work and real-world impact.

What’s On Offer
  • Competitive remuneration package

  • High levels of autonomy, trust, and flexibility (including work-from-home options)

  • Strong opportunities for growth, promotion, and career development

  • A supportive, values-driven culture with high employee engagement

  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference in people’s lives, every single day

How to Apply To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your leadership experience and alignment with this mission-driven role.
