Warehouse Operator – Full Time
Northern Suburbs of Darwin | Permanent Opportunity | Immediate Start
Are you an experienced Warehouse Operator looking for a stable, full-time role in the Northern Suburbs of Darwin? We are recruiting for a dedicated and safety-focused operator to join a high-performing Distribution Centre team in the Darwin region.
This role involves safely, accurately and efficiently moving inventory through all areas of the warehouse including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, despatch and general support tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing Safety, Compliance & Induction
  • Follow all site Traffic Management and safety procedures, including pedestrian rules, speed limits, exclusion zones and safe MHE operation.
  • Wear required PPE at all times and ensure correct use of harnesses/seatbelts where applicable.
  • Apply safe manual-handling practices—assess loads, use correct posture and mechanical aids/team lifts when needed.
  • Report hazards, near misses, injuries and incidents immediately and participate in investigations.
  • Attend toolbox talks, safety briefings and follow all workplace conduct and attendance policies.
Warehouse Operations
  • Receiving: Safely unload freight, check counts/condition, receipt in WMS and stage/label product.
  • Put-away: Accurately store products in racking or bins following SOPs.
  • Replenishment: Maintain pick-faces to support continuous workflow.
  • Picking & Packing: Pick retail, DC and branch orders with accuracy, correct presentation, labelling and documentation.
  • Despatch: Stage, check and load orders to carrier requirements while enforcing driver/visitor controls.
  • Internal Transfers & Kitting: Complete pallet moves, internal transfers, kitting or specialised tasks as required.
  • Housekeeping: Keep aisles and work areas clean and organised, supporting 5S standards.
  • Equipment Care: Complete daily MHE pre-start checks, charge equipment correctly and tag/report defects immediately.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous warehouse experience (receiving, picking, packing, despatch, replenishment).
  • Strong commitment to safety and following site procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift safely and operate manual handling equipment.
  • LF/LO licence highly regarded but not essential.
  • Good communication and a positive attitude.
