We are seeking an experienced and reliable Yard Coordinator or Storeperson to join our Eastern Creek team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe day-to-day order fulfillment, stock movement, fork lift duties and general yard operations. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Yard Coordinator or Storeperson to join our Eastern Creek team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe day-to-day order fulfillment, stock movement, fork lift duties and general yard operations. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move stock within the yard, load/unload trucks, and assist with container unloads
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and on time, following relevant documentation and ERP system processes
- Complete order documentation using computers and iPads, including photographic records of orders leaving the site
- Assist with manual handling tasks including lifting up to 25kg individually and up to 40kg with a partner
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stocktakes
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting with order collection and loading requirements
- Maintain open communication with team members and management regarding operational or safety matters
- Keep the yard and work areas clean, safe, and compliant with company standards
- Current forklift licence (mandatory) with proven experience operating forklifts in a busy yard or warehouse
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, stock movement, or warehouse operations preferred
- Competent with computers and tablets; experience with ERP or stock management systems advantageous
- Physically fit and able to safely perform manual handling tasks
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently when required
