A fast-growing client of ours in the financial sector are looking to bring on a talented Staff Software Engineer to join the team. 

The Role

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of tackling intricate technical challenges in a developer-centric setting. You’ll take full ownership of business requirements, crafting and delivering robust, full-stack solutions. Working alongside a talented team of engineers, you’ll utilize TypeScript, the MERN stack, and AWS to create systems that are both scalable and maintainable.

This is a fully remote role within Australia 

Responsibilities
  • Design and architect scalable, maintainable systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Take full ownership of delivering features across the entire technology stack.
  • Mentor and support the engineering team, encouraging technical growth and continuous improvement.
  • Define and uphold best practices for coding, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Lead and execute technical initiatives that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Requirements
  • Experience across TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS, and MongoDB.
  • Over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, robust software architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and inspiring engineering teams.
