Position Overview

6 month fixed term contract - View to extend further

This organisation is part of a major global financial group, offering a wide range of financial services including banking, securities, trust and asset management.
You will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing and on-time delivery of new technical solutions; and for resolving and updating enhancements and maintenance of existing systems aligned with the business strategy and needs.

Requirements

• Needs to reside in Sydney and be prepared to work on site
• Experience in complex projects working with project teams inside and outside Australia
• Analytical - ability to breakdown problems and provide solutions
• Good writing and articulation skills
• Experience with Enterprise Systems and demonstrated knowledge within financial services.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Back End Development in .NET C#, ASP.NET
• Experience in Front End development in JavaScript, Typescript, React/ Angular
• SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework
• Unit Testing and Test Driven Development
• Multi-threading environment
• Strong knowledge of structured analysis techniques, Object Oriented concepts, design patterns and agile methods.
• Payments experience is highly desirable
