Location: Eastern Creek, NSW
Salary: $80,000-$85,000 including super
Position: Service Technician
Hours: 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri)
Contract: Permanent Posistion 

We are seeking a permanent skilled and motivated Service Technician to join a Technical Service and Refurbishment team based in Sydney. This is a hands-on role focused on the repair, rework, and refurbishment. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude.

  • Competitive rate $80,000-$85,000 including super depending on experience
  • Full-time permanent role, Day Shift
  • Immediate start available 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct functional testing on devices to ensure they are operating correctly
  • Carrying out repairs, rework, and refurbishment of products in line with technical guidelines
  • Assessing and processing DOA (Dead on Arrival) and warranty claims accurately and efficiently
  • Providing technical support to internal teams, dealers, and authorised service agents via phone and email
  • Escalating complex issues to the Technical Services Supervisor or Manager when required
  • Maintaining accurate service records and supporting overall workflow efficiency
  • Assisting with dealer training to enhance product knowledge and technical capability
  • Following all health, safety, and manual handling procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Contributing to a positive, professional, and team-focused workplace culture

What You’ll Need:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in a similar technical or service role is preferred 
  • A TAFE technical qualification (certificate or diploma level) is highly desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
  • A proactive and customer-focused mindset with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to safely perform manual handling and lifting tasks using appropriate equipment and safe practices
