Senior Salesforce Engineer | Salesforce, Apex, Java | 12 month contract (extendable) | Sydney | Onsite 2 days/week
Sirius Technology is working with a leading organisation in Sydney to recruit a Senior Salesforce Backend Engineer on a 12-month contract (extendable). This role is purely backend-focused, working on complex Salesforce development and integrations. The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex backend Salesforce development projects.
- Design, implement, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning framework.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to integrate Salesforce with Java-based systems.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend and integration issues.
- Extensive Salesforce backend development experience (Apex, Lightning, Visualforce).
- Strong Java development background with experience in enterprise systems.
- Proven experience in Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex projects.
