We're partnering with a leading aftermarket automotive parts supplier in APAC and are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with experience in cloud security and architecture, particularly on automations.  

Key Relationships: Development, Infrastructure and Operations teams.

Purpose of the Role: As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting and advancing the organisation’s Azure Cloud Platform. You will initially focus on core engineering tasks to establish and operate a robust cloud environment, enabling development teams to succeed within a Cloud-first architecture. Over time, you will take on mentoring responsibilities as the Cloud Platform team expands, helping to guide and develop the next generation of cloud engineers.

Key areas of technical Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain a self-service, secure, scalable, and high-performing Azure-based cloud platform.
• Collaborate across functions with developers, architects, and DevOps to develop innovative, standards-aligned cloud solutions.
• Drive cloud platform build, operations, architecture, and management in Azure, ensuring best practices and performance optimisation.
• Develop and document optimal Azure solutions that align with business and technology strategies.
• Stay informed on emerging Azure tools and trends to guide technology selection.
• Promote continuous improvement in cloud processes, technologies, and delivery models.
• Work with third-party vendors to optimise outcomes and support platform growth.

Role Requirements:
Essential

• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud platform engineering
• Experience with Terraform and PowerShell for deployment and configuration
• Azure architecture and solution design skills
• Understanding of Azure governance, subscription and role-based access control
• Security knowledge: IAM, RBAC, Azure AD, Firewalls, Key Vault, Sentinel
• Proficiency in source control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) 
• Experience in serverless Azure platform components
• Azure networking and general networking knowledge
• Experience with Azure compute, storage, containers, and data management
• Enterprise IT background with Agile environment experience
• Familiarity with non-functional aspects like Azure Monitor, Backup etc.
• Experience with Fortigate firewalls
