I’m partnering with an innovative client scaling their AI capability across finance and back-office operations. We’re looking for Senior AI Engineers with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience in agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and enterprise-grade GenAI solutions.
You’ll work on automation solutions across Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, document processing, and exception handling, developing AI agents and workflows that materially uplift operational efficiency. This is a highly progressive environment moving quickly on new AI capabilities as they emerge.

What You’ll Do

• Scope, design, and deliver enterprise-ready AI solutions across finance workflows
• Build and implement agentic workflows, including:
  • Future state planning
  • Tool/function calling
  • Guardrails + safety controls
  • Multi-agent handoffs
  • Memory/state management
• Develop RAG workflows, optimising chunking and retrieval strategies for high-quality performance
• Build and deploy AI agents for invoice matching, AP triage, reconciliation logic, exception handling, and document understanding
• Integrate AI components into existing finance systems and back-office environments
• Use guardrails and safety frameworks to ensure reliable, safe AI behaviour at scale
• Run discovery sessions, scope PoCs/MVPs, communicate risks/assumptions, and collaborate with stakeholders
• Write clean, scalable, production-grade Python or TypeScript code
• Work end-to-end: data ingestion → orchestration → model integration → deployment

What We’re Looking For

• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js
• Strong experience with embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector, Weaviate), RAG pipelines, and chunking strategies
• Experience with agentic workflows using OpenAI Agents SDK and/or Google ADK
• Comfortable with LLM observability: tracing, evaluation, monitoring
• Familiar with FastAPI, Next.js, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of authentication/security (JWT, OAuth)
• Knowledge of OpenAI, Anthropic, Databricks, MLflow or similar tools
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with stakeholders
• Passion for emerging AI technologies and building practical, scalable automation
