Salesforce Developer | Salesforce, Java, GCP, APIs | Up to $1000/day + GST | Sydney, NSW | Hybrid (2 days onsite) | 12 Month Contract

Sirius Technology is working with a leading financial services organisation based in Sydney who are looking to bring on board a highly skilled Salesforce professional. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives, leveraging Salesforce, Java, GCP, and API management technologies.
You will be part of a dynamic technology team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative solutions across the Salesforce platform, integrating with cloud and middleware technologies. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge projects within a well-established financial institution.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop, customise, and enhance applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, LWC, and APIs.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce, GCP, and Java-based applications.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Support middleware and API management activities, including Apigee.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in security, performance, and governance.
 
Skills
  • 5+ years’ hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • 4+ years of Java (8+) with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • 3+ years’ experience working with GCP services and cloud-native applications.
  • Proven expertise in API integration, middleware, and API management platforms (Apigee preferred).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and integration patterns.
