We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to join a highly respected organisation based in Rookwood that provides essential services to the community.

This is a full-time position, starting on a temporary basis with the intention to transition to a permanent role after a few months. It's an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow into a long-term role within a supportive and purpose-driven workplace.

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming and professional environment for all visitors and callers, including families who may be experiencing grief or difficult moments. Compassion, empathy and discretion are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and families in a respectful and empathetic manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism
  • Manage appointments and coordinate schedules
  • Process payments and respond to enquiries
  • Provide administrative support to the broader team
About You: We are looking for someone who is calm, reliable and emotionally intelligent, with a steady and kind presence at the front desk. You will have:
  • Previous experience in a reception or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of empathy, professionalism and discretion
  • Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM systems)
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team
  • A current NSW driver’s licence and your own transport
