Job Title: React Native Developer (Mid-Level)
Location: Sydney (Hybrid – Office attendance required twice a month)

The Opportunity
They are on the lookout for a mid-level React Native Developer to join their cross-functional engineering team. This role is a critical hire to help balance our Frontend expertise and support the development of both mobile and web applications.

You’ll be stepping into a greenfield environment, helping to build innovative, high-traffic consumer-facing products from scratch. With several major launches planned, now’s an exciting time to come on board.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms
  
  
• Collaborate with Backend and Frontend developers across a team of 8 engineers
  
  
• Contribute to product discussions, design and architecture decisions
  
  
• Work on greenfield projects and new feature development
  
  
• Participate in sprint planning every second Thursday in the Sydney office

Who You Are

• 2+ years of professional experience in React Native development
  
  
• Comfortable working across mobile and web platforms
  
  
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
  
  
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in a team environment
  
  
• Passionate about building performant, scalable, and user-focused applications
  
  

Interview Process

1. Technical conversation (assess fundamentals and practical experience)
   
   
2. React Native-focused coding challenge (approx. 4 hours)
   
   
3. Cultural interview (online or in-person)
