Location: Western Sydney, NSW
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + Super (depending on experience)
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm (flexibility on this)
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory & Quality Assurance Coordinator to manage and maintain quality systems and oversee NATA-accredited testing for a well-established manufacturing business in the building products sector.

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory & Quality Assurance Coordinator to manage and maintain quality systems and oversee NATA-accredited testing for a well-established manufacturing business in the building products sector.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Operate and maintain the test laboratory in compliance with NATA and ISO9001 standards
- Conduct accredited window and door testing to AS2047 using AS4420.1 methods
- Maintain lab documentation, equipment calibration, and audit schedules
- Lead internal audits and act as primary contact for external ISO/NATA assessments
- Coordinate with production, sales, and customer service on quality investigations
- Investigate customer returns and product complaints to drive improvements
- Maintain SOPs, quality forms, and system records
- Monitor and manage inventory of testing equipment and lab materials
- Support ongoing quality projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in a NATA-accredited laboratory or QA-based manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of ISO9001 and AS2047/AS4420.1 testing methods
- Strong documentation and audit management skills, with the ability to maintain compliance and quality records
- Experience coordinating quality investigations and preparing detailed reports
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise across teams and with external stakeholders
- Experience within the building products or construction sector is essential
