To continue this successful foodservice journey, we are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic and friendly team based at our Sydney depot.

The Role Working closely with the existing purchasing team, you will be responsible for taking ownership of purchasing specific product categories across the business, working with a mix of exclusive and mainstream brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Procuring stock in line with purchasing schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods
• Regularly reviewing product ranges to meet company goals related to customer fit, profitability, and availability
• Negotiating with suppliers to maximise opportunities based on current market conditions

Essential Qualities To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience working within a purchasing or supply chain team
• Be committed to delivering excellent internal customer service
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and experience working to targets
• Possess excellent organisational and time management skills
• Have intermediate MS Office (Excel) skills, along with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
