Key Responsibilities:

▪ Lead the WMS implementation project from initiation through to completion, including
planning, execution, and closing phases.
▪ Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
▪ Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with key

▪ Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources, including IT, operations, logistics,
and third-party vendors.
Stakeholder Management:
▪ Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders involved in
the WMS project.
▪ Provide regular project status updates, ensuring transparency and alignment with
stakeholder expectations.
▪ Facilitate communication across departments to ensure all requirements are met and
changes are effectively managed.
Budget and Resource Management:
▪ Oversee project budgeting, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and the
project stays within financial constraints.
▪ Identify and mitigate any resource gaps or budget issues that could affect the project
timeline.
Risk Management:
▪ Proactively identify project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation
strategies.
▪ Conduct regular risk assessments to address any potential disruptions to the
implementation process.
WMS System Configuration and Integration:
▪ Collaborate with the WMS vendor and internal teams to define system requirements and
ensure proper configuration.
▪ Manage the integration of WMS with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, inventory
management) to ensure seamless operations.
Training and Change Management:
▪ Lead user training sessions for staff on the new WMS system, ensuring successful
adoption across departments.
▪ Develop and implement a change management plan to facilitate smooth transitions to
new processes and technologies.
▪ Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the post-implementation phase.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
▪ Oversee the testing and validation process to ensure the WMS system performs as
expected.
▪ Ensure all system bugs, errors, and discrepancies are addressed prior to go-live.
Post-Implementation Support:
▪ Ensure a smooth transition from the project phase to the operational phase, including
post-implementation support.
▪ Monitor system performance after launch and address any operational challenges that
arise.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Technology, or a
related field. PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification preferred.
Experience:
▪ Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years of
experience leading WMS or similar software implementations.
▪ Strong experience with warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management
processes.
▪ Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and working with external
vendors.
Skills & Competencies:

deadlines and budgets.
