Our client is an Australian manufacturer of waterproofing protective coatings, and sealants, supplying products across the construction and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment and be committed to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with potential for overtime or weekend work as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow batch formulation instructions for the preparation and mixing of raw materials
• Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Package, label, and palletize finished goods for dispatch
• Perform quality control checks and take production samples
• Monitor production equipment and identify any maintenance or performance issues
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace
• Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the facility
• Comply with all OH&S procedures and company policies

Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or chemical processing (essential)
• Experience with powder or liquid-based materials is highly desirable
• Ability to follow batch or formulation cards accurately
• Current forklift license 
• Physically fit and capable of safely lifting up to 25kg
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude towards safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
