My client are an independent media company wither 20+ years’ experience investing in Australia’s best journalism. They are looking for a mid-level full stack developer with strong Wordpress skills to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop new software features and improve Wordpress functionality, integrating with third-party platforms via APIs.
• Monitor and maintain software quality proactively.
• Participate actively in designing technical solutions and contribute to project planning and product improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and validate technical requirements that meet business needs.
• Provide project management support for larger technical projects when required.
• Document current, future, and proposed technical solutions clearly.

 
Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of full-stack web development experience
• Strong Wordpress experience, maintaining the latest versions
• Modern PHP experience with LAMP/LEMP stack and Laravel
• Experience with modern frontend tech stacks, ideally ReactJS
• Qualifications in Computer Science
