MULESOFT DEVELOPER | MULESOFT (ESSENTIAL), INTEGRATION, JAVA | REMOTE | $550 A DAY + GST | AUSTRALIAN OR NEW ZEALAND CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT
Sirius Technology is working with a large, enterprise-scale organisation making a significant investment in its integration capability. This role sits within a mature engineering practice where MuleSoft is the core integration platform, supporting complex, business-critical systems across the organisation.
As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building and enhancing integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will work closely with architects, analysts and engineers, contributing hands-on to delivery while championing best practices around API design, security and performance.

As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building and enhancing integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will work closely with architects, analysts and engineers, contributing hands-on to delivery while championing best practices around API design, security and performance.
Responsibiities
- Design, develop and deploy integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments
- Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs following MuleSoft and enterprise integration best practices
- Collaborate with solution architects to ensure MuleSoft implementations align with target architecture
- Support backlog refinement, delivery planning and Agile ceremonies
- Mentor junior MuleSoft developers and promote consistent integration standards
- Proactively manage quality, security, performance and reliability of MuleSoft integrations
- Strong, hands-on MuleSoft experience (essential) including API-led connectivity
- Solid Java background with experience in REST/JSON and SOAP/XML integrations
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, microservices and API lifecycle management
- Experience deploying MuleSoft solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or OpenShift)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Maven)
- Confident communicator able to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
