Mid-Level Full Stack Developer (Shopify) – Creative Studio | $110k–$130k + Super | Hybrid
Sydney | 5-Day Fortnight | Mentorship by Senior Lead Developer | Permanent Role
We’re partnering with a fast-moving, creatively-driven business looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join their in-house engineering team. This is a rare opportunity to work directly alongside a senior lead developer (2 days/week) and take ownership of impactful web projects from day one.
You’ll bring strong Shopify experience, a passion for clean code, and a mindset focused on smart integrations and scalable builds. Whether it's working with third-party platforms (like NetSuite or BeCool), digging into GraphQL endpoints, or building custom apps in TypeScript—this role will challenge and grow your skills.

Tech Stack & Tools
- Shopify / Liquid – must-have
- Node.js & TypeScript
- GraphQL
- Retool (nice to have, not essential)
- Third-party integrations – experience with APIs and systems like NetSuite, BeCool, Klaviyo, etc.
- Working closely with a Senior Developer (2 days/week) in a mentoring/support structure
- Building custom Shopify solutions and integrations
- Supporting ongoing internal and external projects with high visibility
- Collaborating in a tight-knit, fast-moving studio environment
- Contributing to architectural and code decisions
- Participating in occasional trial builds during the interview process
- Proven Shopify development experience (agency background highly preferred)
- Solid full stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Familiarity with modern integration practices (APIs, headless architectures)
- Strong communication and a collaborative, can-do attitude
- A portfolio or GitHub demonstrating quality work
- Hybrid: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every second Friday in the studio
