6:30AM – 4:30PM Monday to Thursday, Friday at Overtime when required with Potential Saturday work as well
 
$44ph + SUPER (Entry level) AND/OR $50ph + SUPER (Experienced)
 
Our client in the Penrith location is getting EXTREMELY busy and is currently in need of MULTIPLE Mechanical Fitters ASAP offering excellent opportunities and strong growth!
 
Duties of the role:

• Assemble and fit mechanical components per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform general and specialized mechanical tasks, including material cutting and fitting.
• Operate various machining equipment (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders, presses) to shape and finish materials.
•  Conduct routine maintenance and repair, including preventative and breakdown fixes.
• Manufacture jigs, fixtures, and custom devices to support Lean Manufacturing and automation.
• Set and adjust press tools, manage tool changeovers and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers, tradespeople, and contractors on manufacturing and maintenance tasks.
• Operate machinery and tools according to policies and instructions.

 
 What’s required:

• Must be trade qualified in Mechanical Fitting AND/OR Similar industries
• Proficient in operating a variety of machining equipment, such as lathes, milling Machines, drills and grinders
• Must have mechanical fitting experience working with machines in manufacturing industries
