Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: South West Sydney
Salary: $120,000–$130,000 + super (depending on experience)
Shift: Day or Night Shift Available
Type: Permanent, full time

About the Role

A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to support the ongoing operation and reliability of its production facility. This is a permanent opportunity offering day or night shift availability, where you will be responsible for preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance to ensure plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across plant and equipment
• Attend and resolve breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime
• Diagnose and fault-find electrical issues in a manufacturing environment
• Ensure machinery is maintained in line with safety, quality, and food safety standards
• Complete maintenance tasks within agreed timeframes 
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Assist with small projects and equipment upgrades
• Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to support output

Key Requirements

• Trade qualified Electrician
• Current and relevant NSW Electrical Licence
• 3–5 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working to preventative maintenance schedules
• Knowledge of WHS requirements and Australian Standards
• HACCP / GMP experience highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Cool room experience is highly regarded
