About the Role

They are seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a core member, you’ll design and develop software solutions, manage and mentor developers, and contribute to system architecture. Ideal candidates possess startup DNA, resilience, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, logical thinking, and a focus on accuracy are essential. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop REST APIs
Prioritize and manage developers
Mentor team members
Contribute to system architecture discussions
Deliver low-maintenance code

Requirements

5+ years of professional backend development experience
Strong knowledge of Python/ Django
Golang
Expertise in system design
Proficiency with relational databases (preferably Postgres)
Experience with version control
Ability to manage and prioritize development tasks

Desirable Skills and Experience

Startup experience
Proficiency in additional programming languages
Knowledge of GCP and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps
Familiarity with mobile or web development
