Job Description

The Role:

As the Infrastructure Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our on-premises and partially cloud-based technology environments. You will lead a team of 12 talented professionals, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. This role is instrumental in driving our major cloud transformation project forward, while also managing and building relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 12 infrastructure professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our on-premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Drive the implementation and management of our major cloud transformation project, aligning with business objectives and timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external partners.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, influencing stakeholders on technology decisions and initiatives that impact infrastructure and operations.
  • Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure management, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with business applications and processes.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend and implement improvements.
Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Manager or similar role, overseeing large technology divisions.
  • Strong background in managing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure environments.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of infrastructure professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with cloud migration projects.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices in IT service management.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
