Hours: Day Shift
Salary: $95,000 – $99,000 per year + super (based on experience)
About the Role
The company is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Service Technician to join their team in Mount Druitt, NSW. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong mechanical background who enjoys working on a variety of heavy vehicle equipment in a fast-paced and supportive environment. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on heavy vehicle equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and machinery overhauls
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Support the service team in improving processes and operational efficiency
- Provide on-call, field service, and occasional interstate support as required
- Collaborate with customers and maintain strong service relationships
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technology, and best practices
- Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or similar role
- Experience in breakdown and diagnostic repairs
- Certificate III in a relevant trade discipline is encouraged
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license; HR and forklift licenses highly desirable
- Experience with high-pressure water and vacuum pumps advantageous
