As the Head of Technology Projects, you will lead and oversee technology project governance and delivery, ensuring best practices and consistency across all initiatives. This role is crucial in embedding program management excellence and supporting the enterprise-wide PMO in a growing financial services organisation.

This is a full time permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Leadership & Governance – Oversee project portfolio management, governance, and delivery.

• Best Practice Implementation – Drive adoption of project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

• Project Prioritisation – Work with business leaders to assess and prioritize projects based on strategic objectives, resource availability, and business impact.

• Change Management – Support transition to new processes and ensure stakeholder engagement.

• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with senior leaders to align program objectives with strategic priorities.

• Resource & Budget Management – Oversee resource allocation and financial targets.

• Risk & Vendor Management – Identify and mitigate risks while managing key supplier relationships.

• Continuous Improvement & Reporting – Enhance program efficiency and provide regular updates to senior management.

Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years in project/program management, including 8+ years in financial services.

• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certification.

• Skills: Expertise in Agile/Waterfall methodologies, Monday.com, JIRA, Confluence, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and problem-solving.
