About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Operator with High Reach Forklift experience to join our client’s busy food production warehouse in Heathwood, located in the outer southwest of Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, modern, and clean environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are a top priority.

In this role, you will be a critical part of the warehouse team, ensuring stock is received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. You will be handling a wide variety of products, assisting with picking and packing, and supporting both chilled and dry storage operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physically active work, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a High Reach Forklift safely and efficiently to move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and deliveries of varying sizes and weights.
• Accurately store and retrieve stock within chilled and dry storage areas.
• Assist with picking, packing, and preparing food products for dispatch.
• Ensure stock control and documentation are maintained accurately at all times.
• Monitor stock rotation and contribute to inventory accuracy.
• Keep the warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean, tidy, and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support general warehouse and production duties as required, including assisting production teams when necessary.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a safety-first mindset at all times.

Skills & Experience

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) with High Reach experience essential.
• Previous experience in a food production, FMCG, or high-volume warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene protocols, and WHS practices.
• Proven reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and securing stock.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated environments as reaquired from time to time.
