We’re seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join a well-established team based in Brisbane, Jamboree Heights. In this mobile, hands-on role, you’ll service and repair forklifts, trucks, and other plant equipment across customer sites and workshops. You will be working independently while supported by a professional, safety-first organisation.
Key Responsibilities Focus on Technical Work, Safety, and Reporting: Technical:
- Service and repair a range of industrial equipment and vehicles
- Complete scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs
- Operate tools and equipment safely and professionally
- Maintain your service vehicle and job equipment in top condition
Safety:
- Comply with all WHS procedures, PPE use, and risk assessments
- Maintain clean, safe workspaces both onsite and in workshops
- Report incidents, hazards, or tooling issues promptly
Reporting & Compliance:
- Complete clear and accurate job cards and parts requisitions
- Attend toolbox talks and contribute to continuous improvement
- Follow environmental, safety, and quality standards at all times
What You’ll Need:
- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Car) and Forklift Licence
- 2+ years in a field service or plant maintenance role
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage job schedules
- Strong WHS focus and commitment to professional standards
Highly Regarded:
- LPG licence, crane/truck experience, or MVRIC
- Post-trade qualifications or plant machinery knowledge
- Familiarity with digital job logging or fleet maintenance systems
