Executive Officer
📍 Location: Barton, ACT | 🕒 Full-Time | 💼 7 Month Role

This highly renowned Pharmacy is seeking an organised and proactive Executive Officer to join their Executive Office team. This role is central to supporting the Executive Director, National President, elected officials, and senior leadership in delivering our Strategic Plan and ensuring the smooth operation of our governance frameworks.

About the role
As the Executive Officer, you will provide high-level administrative, governance, and committee support, ensuring our processes are efficient, compliant, and continuously improving. You’ll be coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, tracking action items, and assisting with governance documentation. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role where your attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to anticipate needs will be highly valued.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, National President, and elected officials.
  • Coordinate agendas, papers, and follow-up actions for National Council, National Executive, and Committees.
  • Attend and minute high-level meetings, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Support corporate governance processes, including policy and compliance registers.
  • Assist with strategic and operational planning tracking.
  • Act as a back-up to the Executive Assistant as needed.

Key requirements
  • Experienced administrator with exceptional organisational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and have a knack for streamlining processes
  • Has strong administration and governance support experience.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
  • Can manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Must have full Work Rights and willing to undergo an Australian Police Check
