Electrical Estimator – New Builds
Collingwood, VIC | Full-Time | On-Site
We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to deliver accurate, competitive quotes for new build projects.
If you’re detail-driven, commercially minded, and confident interpreting electrical plans, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
• Estimate electrical works for residential, commercial, and industrial new builds
• Interpret drawings and specs to determine materials, labour, and equipment
• Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to source pricing
• Collaborate with project and site teams to align budgets and scope
• Maintain cost databases and identify risks, savings, and opportunities
What You Bring:
• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator (new builds preferred)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methods
• Confident reading plans and using estimating tools (SimPRO, Bluebeam, Excel)
• High accuracy, great communication, and strong commercial awareness
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Nice to Have:
• Electrical trade background or relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience in design & construct or tendering environments
