Data Migration Specialist – Financial Services - $1000-1200 per day 

6-Month Contract | Fully Remote | Australia-based

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a skilled Data Migration Specialist to design and lead the strategy for migrating data from legacy systems to a third-party vendor solution. This migration will be from on-prem to on-prem, with integration of Databricks and Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the data migration strategy for seamless transition from legacy systems.

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of the migration process.

• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth data flow and integrity.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in data migration projects within regulated industries (Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Government).

• Strong technical expertise with Databricks, Azure, and on-prem data migrations.

• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with legacy system migration strategies in complex environments.

• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative remote environment.
