About the Role

A well-established food distribution company based in Yennora is seeking an experienced Customer Experience Specialist to join its Customer Experience team on a temporary full-time basis, with the potential to transition to permanent employment.

Reporting to the Customer Experience Supervisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, taking full ownership of the order process from start to finish. You will deliver accurate order processing, exceptional customer service, and collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales and Warehouse to resolve enquiries efficiently.

Customer Service & Orders
  • Process customer orders via phone, email, fax and PDA
  • Ensure order accuracy and forward orders to the warehouse for picking
  • Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally
Invoicing & Administration
  • Create accurate invoices and credit notes
  • Confirm pick slips prior to invoicing
  • File invoices and maintain accurate records
Sales & Internal Support
  • Service customers during Sales Representative absences
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues
Reception & Communication
  • Answer incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriately
  • Maintain a professional phone manner

Skills & Experience
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Proven administration and data entry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Experience resolving complex customer enquiries
