We’re seeking a proactive and safety-conscious Compliance Officer to support this Tertiary Contractor Management and Compliance Functions Team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the key point of contact for ensuring contractors are registered, inducted, and ready to start work each day—safely and compliantly.
You'll work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to uphold safety standards and ensure smooth daily operations.

You'll work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to uphold safety standards and ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the contractor compliance team
- Onboard and assist contractors using Rapid Global (registration & induction system)
- Mentor team members and contractors in using Rapid Global effectively
- Help contractors get set up with work orders and system access
- Work closely with internal teams, including safety consultants and admin support
- Maintain accurate contractor records and ensure ongoing compliance
- Provide practical, on-the-ground support with a safety-first mindset
- Assist with administrative tasks related to safety and compliance
- Support wider team activities, including onboarding and service coordination
Requirements:
- Experience in contractor compliance, safety, or a similar field
- Familiarity with Rapid Global (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
- Excellent communication and contractor engagement skills
- Great attention to detail and solid admin capabilities
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- A team player who’s also comfortable working independently
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach to day-to-day challenges
- Must have full Work Rights and willing to undergo an Australian Police Check
