The Role:Our client is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow their footprint across Melbourne’s East & South Eastern Suburbs. This role is all about hunting for new business—finding, engaging, and winning new customers while also maintaining key relationships. Key Responsibilities:
New Business – Identify, approach, and secure new customers needing plastic recycling solutions.
Account Management – Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
Sales & Consultation – Develop tailored recycling solutions, advising on bins, compactors, and waste strategies.
Market Growth – Spot new opportunities to expand services and partnerships in the recycling sector.
Industry Awareness – Keep up with market trends and competitors to stay ahead.
About You:
Proven sales experience, preferably in business development or account management.
A hunter—confident in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
Strong communicator with great relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven.
Understanding of recycling or waste management is a plus (or willingness to learn).
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region.
