2nd Line Windows Engineer | Sydney CBD – On-site | Initial 6 Month Contract 

We are looking for a heavy-hitting 2nd Line Windows Engineer for a 6-month contract based in the Central CBD. The bar is high so require someone who sits more at a 2/3 level than a 1/2. You’ll be the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, so a "hit the ground running" mindset is essential.

Technical Stack

• Windows: Deep Win 10/11 and Windows Server experience (inc. GPO, AD, and DHCP/DNS).
  
  
• VMWare: Strong hands-on administration of vSphere and ESXi environments.
  
  
• Cloud: M365 and Entra ID (Azure AD).
  
  
• Experience: Previous background in Investment Banking / Capital Markets / FinTech / Asset Management is a highly valued. MSP experience with end clients in this space also works  .
  
  

The Role

• On-site in the CBD, supporting a team based in Australia 
  
  
• Bridging the gap between desktop support and 3rd line infrastructure projects.
  
  
• Troubleshooting complex server and virtualization issues 
  
  
• Providing high-touch support for senior stakeholders .
