Senior Data Engineer | Microsoft Fabric Specialist
Location: Sydney, NSW (Preferrable) but can be Melbourne, VIC based too.
Role Type: Full-time, Permanent role

Key Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Lead the implementation of scalable data warehousing, lakehouse, and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop Pipelines: Build and maintain robust data transformation processes using Python and PySpark.
- Data Quality: Design monitoring frameworks to ensure the highest standards of data accuracy and reliability.
- Automation & DevOps: Optimize existing pipelines and integrate CI/CD practices to streamline delivery.
- Mentorship: Act as a technical lead, guiding junior team members and contributing to strategic architectural decisions.
- Experience: 5+ years in Data Engineering roles.
- Microsoft Fabric Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
- Programming: Advanced Python skills (pandas, numpy, pyspark) and expert-level SQL.
- Azure Ecosystem: Proven experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, including SQL and Spark pools.
- Frameworks: Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, or Generative AI/LLM integration.
