This role offers the chance to work under the mentorship of senior administrators while providing critical support for a robust network infrastructure.
The RoleAs a Level 1 Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day health and performance of the network. You will balance proactive maintenance with reactive support to ensure mission-critical systems remain operational.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support: Provide first-level troubleshooting for network-related incidents.
• Maintenance: Assist with scheduled maintenance, patching, and firmware upgrades.
• Monitoring: Track network performance and identify proactive improvements.
• Projects: Contribute to network refresh projects and infrastructure upgrades as directed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration standards, and asset management logs.

About You

You are a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in team environments and possesses a foundational understanding of secure networking.
Technical Skills & Requirements:

• Security Clearance: You must be an Australian Citizen holding a current NV2 clearance.
• Networking Fundamentals: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and DNS.
• Compliance: Familiarity with government security frameworks (e.g., ISM) and ITIL.
• Soft Skills: Excellent customer service, stakeholder management, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Qualifications: A Tertiary qualification, Diploma, or relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
