The Opportunity
We are looking for a Sales Representative to join a leading Australian supplier in the building and construction space. You will be trained and mentored by a Sales Manager who knows the business inside and out and partner with an experienced account manager, acting as the primary point of contact for a busy territory covering in Queensland.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Contact: Handle incoming inquiries, provide quotes, and follow up to turn those quotes into orders.
• Proactive Sales: Maintain regular contact with current customers and reach out to new prospects to grow the business.
• Order Management: Process orders through the system and coordinate with the production team to make sure deliveries are on time.
• Career Growth: Once you know the products, you’ll spend time out in the field visiting clients to prepare you for a future move into external sales.

Requirements:

• Attitude: Our client prioritises attitude over industry experience. We are looking for someone hungry to succeed, eager to learn and comfortable with proactive phone-based sales.
• Communication: You’re comfortable on the phone and can handle emails and admin with high attention to detail.
• Background: Experience in construction or building supplies sales or a trade-related environment.
