Senior Business Analyst – Initial 6 months contract – Hybrid Working - Based in Sydney 

This role sits within a high-priority program of work dedicated to enhancing the organisation’s resilience, backup, and recovery capabilities within a highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of disaster recovery, business continuity, and data protection strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements such as APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234. The program is central to safeguarding critical systems, maintaining service continuity and minimising operational risk, making this role pivotal in supporting the organisation’s operational stability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation across complex initiatives
✅ Work closely with technology and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes
✅Facilitate workshops, process mapping, and impact assessments
✅Support delivery within an Agile environment using Azure DevOps
✅Contribute to regulatory and compliance-driven projects

Key Requirements:
✅Strong experience working in Azure DevOps environments
✅Experience within APRA-regulated environments ideally worked on frameworks such as CPS 230 and/or CPS 234
✅Solid understanding of backup and recovery concepts including Disaster Recovery, RTO and RPO
✅Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable:
✅Experience working on infrastructure, cloud or resilience programs
✅Background in financial services such as banking
