Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Day shift
Salary: $85,000 + Super

About the Role

Join a trusted global brand within the Technical Service and Refurbishment team. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing, repairing and servicing a range of electronic equipment in a supportive and collaborative technical environment.

This is a stable Monday–Friday Day shift position with no weekend work, offering long-term career opportunities within a well-established organisation operating in Australia for nearly 50 years.

Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor and Technical Services Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and servicing equipment while delivering high-quality technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electronic equipment including printers, sewing machines and similar devices
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify practical solutions
  • Perform servicing, refurbishment and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with technicians and technical support teams
  • Ensure equipment is repaired and returned to operational standards
  • Support continuous improvement within the technical service process
Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on technical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
  • Interest in electronics, mechanical systems or technical equipment
  • Enjoys working with tools and fixing or rebuilding equipment
  • Curious and analytical approach to diagnosing faults
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technical challenges
  • Technical qualification in electronics, communications or similar (or currently studying) is highly desirable
  • Someone known as the “go-to” person for fixing things among friends or family
