Role: Automation Tester
Location: Australia 
Contract: Initial 6 Months

Overview We are seeking an experienced Automation Testers with strong Playwright expertise to support an organisation in growing and maturing their QA automation capability. The role focuses on strengthening the automation practice, improving test coverage and reliability and delivering a maintainable automated test suite aligned with business and technical goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and enhance a scalable Playwright-based automation framework
  
  
• Review existing manual test cases and convert them into automated scripts
  
  
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
  
  
• Ensure test coverage, traceability and clear reporting of results
  
  
• Identify gaps in current QA processes and recommend improvements
  
  
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders to align testing with delivery goals
  
  
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer and guidance to team members
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Hands on experience with Playwright
  
  
• Proven experience implementing automation frameworks
  
  
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test strategy and test lifecycle management
  
  
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
  
  
• Solid understanding of modern web technologies and API testing
