As a senior member of the team, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality applications that drive digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Lead the design and implementation of complex Appian applications, including process models, SAIL interfaces, and records.
- Architecture & Design: Apply advanced design patterns to ensure applications are memory-efficient, scalable, and user-centric.
- System Integration: Design and configure robust integrations (REST/SOAP APIs) to connect the Appian platform with various enterprise backend systems.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, performing code reviews and providing mentorship to junior developers to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners in an Agile environment to translate user stories into functional technical specifications.
- Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within the Appian environment and underlying database structures.
- Appian Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Appian development.
- Certification: Appian Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification is highly regarded.
- Data Modeling: Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design (MySQL, MariaDB, or Oracle).
- Web Services: Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Agile Delivery: Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks in a large-scale enterprise setting.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
