Azure DevOps Platform Engineer (Contract) – Sydney - 6 Month Contract - $860 per day 

We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Platform Engineer for a day-rate contract role in Sydney. You’ll design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and Azure-based infrastructure, driving best practices in IAC (Terraform) and cloud architecture. 

You will collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to deliver secure, high-velocity software solutions. This will include code reviews from junior engineers. Ideally you will have a background in financial services 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
  
  
• Define/enforce IaC standards (Terraform)
  
  
• Enhance SDLC with a platform-first, automation-driven mindset
  
  
• Champion Azure cloud architecture and services
  
  
• Drive security, compliance, and governance in all processes
  
  
• Mentor local and offshore team members
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong background in DevOps Platform Engineering roles 
  
  
• Strong SDLC knowledge (.NET, React, Azure)
  
  
• CI/CD and Terraform skills
  
  
• Strong Azure expertise 
  
  
• Solid security and automation experience
  
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
