Your Role
As an integral part of the Maintenance Department for this renowned Tertiary Organisation, you’ll be the driving force behind the smooth day-to-day operations of a fast-paced, multi-skilled team. Under broad direction, you’ll provide essential administrative support to maintenance supervisors, helping to keep our campuses running efficiently and effectively. Your proactive mindset and eye for detail will help support a range of services critical to the success of our vibrant university community.

Your Responsibilities
In this diverse and engaging role, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating purchasing activities, raising purchase orders, and processing invoices in line with procurement policies
- Managing digital records, service reports, and document uploads in compliance with records procedures
- Organising supplies and supporting office logistics such as stationery orders
- Creating and tracking work orders for internal and external trades
- Being the first point of contact for queries, offering exceptional customer service to staff, contractors, and stakeholders
- Managing emails and phone enquiries with professionalism and clarity
- Assisting with additional administrative tasks as required to support team success
- Previous experience in a fast-paced administrative or facilities-related environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational abilities, with the capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) is a bonus
- Confident in using Microsoft Office and other digital tools
- A self-starter who shows initiative, solves problems, and thrives both independently and in team settings
- Adaptable and resilient, with a knack for managing competing demands and staying calm under pressure
- Must have full Work Rights and willing to undergo an Australian Police Check
